ERESI Solar is happy to share our partnership with a Netherland based Green Rooftop premium organization “Groendakcoach” with many thanks to Het Groene loket – Groendaken.

The combination of Solar Panels and Green Roofs reinforces the benefits of both worlds. The green roof element has a cooling effect, especially during the summertime, the solar panels helps fighting greenhouse gasses, emissions, produce renewable energy and lowering electricity bills. 

The Solar/Photovoltiac panels can work more efficiently on a roof when installed over a green roof system and vice versa the PV panels increase the diversity of vegetation on the green roof and creates a ‘habitat mosaic’, allowing a wider variety of vegetation to flourish, in turn attracting a wider range of butterflies, bees, beetles and other species.

Our first combined project will start Q2 2023 involving 200 private homes in a new housing estate in The Netherlands.
